How it all started: Roy's story
Back in 2018,
I took on a major challenge. I left a comfortable role as a team leader in a large, laid-back company to join a small SaaS startup, where I was solely responsible for all paid marketing efforts. Overnight, I went from managing a team of three to running everything—user acquisition, funnel optimization, and creative—on my own.
After a major funding round, the pressure was on. The company had ambitious revenue targets, and as the sole UA lead, I had to both strategize and execute at full speed. I had endless questions, challenges, and ideas—but no real place to discuss them with peers who truly understood.

but they were massive (20K+ members) and too broad. I needed a space where I could connect with others facing the same challenges as me—peers who were deep in the trenches of performance and tech marketing. When I couldn’t find one, I started asking around. I reached out to colleagues and my network, and everyone agreed: this kind of community was missing.
that's how "UA Pros" was born.
From the start, it was never about quantity. The goal was to build a tight-knit, high-value community where experienced UA, growth, and performance marketing professionals in Israel could exchange insights, strategies, and support.
